amazon logo regular teether
It is silicone teether that is shaped as a toothbrush. My baby 1 year old and had it for few months. She is chewing on handles, toothbrush part and the other side. It is not her favorite teether, but she uses it occasionally. I gave it 3 stars because the product is misrepresented. It does not develop good hygiene, and it is not training toothbrush. Infants will not learn to manipulate it in their mouth, they will chew on it. Nor does it massage gums any better than anything else babies put in their mouth. It is regular teether, just overpriced. Whoever buys it still needs to wipe their baby teeth after meals and brush it before bedtime with finger toothbrush. The teether does nothing to clean baby teeth or to train the baby in tooth brushing.

Update: When baby began using teether heavily, she started biting off tether bristles one by one. After she bit off half of them, I cut the rest, and baby stopped using the teether shortly after that.

amazon logo Only for Babies
I have been using this toothbrush since I was born. Every six months, I buy a new one and toss out my old one and it turns out, it has been doing more harm than good. My dentist questioned me on my brushing habits and even thought I wasn't brushing properly. I showed him the proof, this toothbrush, and he just laughed. He laughed at me. He said it was only for babies but I said if it's good enough for baby, it's twice as good for a man. We care so much about our babies and make special products for their sensitive teeth and you know what, I got some sensitive teeth too, so I kept on using it. No way is some dentist going to suggest I use another kind of toothbrush. A male dentist! Can you believe it. First of all, he's probably not even a dentist, I didn't see him graduate or anything from dentist school. Secondly, he hates babies. I love babies. There are like four things in this world I love, and babies are two of them. Boy and girl babies, both are their own spot in my top four loves of the world. And here, a dentist is telling me to grow up. Shut up, dentist, shut up.

amazon logo Be careful if your little one has teeth!
I thought this was a fantastic teether until my 10 month old bit off one of the bristles and swallowed it. I tried to get it out of his mouth but it was too small.

amazon logo Funny and useful
We loved this teether for about three days, until we lost it. :( My son really enjoyed it, as he doesn't care for round-shaped teethers but prefers ones he can jam into his mouth. The brush seemed soothing on his little gums and the peel handles were easy for him to grasp. My only complaint is that like all silicone stuff, it picks up lint like mad, so you can't put it down, say, on the couch, but the bag it comes in is handy as a storage bag. We held onto it just long enough for his bottom teeth to pop through, then lost it in a restaurant. Boo hoo.

amazon logo Not for baby with lots of teeth
Bought this to my 10-month-old who had 8 teeth and 4 molars coming in. The brush is soft but the bristles are set pretty far apart from each other, not like adult toothbrush. The bristles are more like little massage bristles instead of for cleaning. Don't like it at all. It's for kids who don't have many (or any) teeth. If your baby has several teeth, go with something else.

amazon logo My 5 month old son LOVES this!
I bought this item a few days ago because my 5 month old son is teething. He's been having a hard time lately. I didn't really want to spend the $9 I paid for this but I am glad I did. He absolutely loves this thing. I don't have to listen to him crying because his gums are hurting and he is back to his joyful, fun-loving self. He even likes it when I brush his gums with it too. But mainly I let him old on to it and chew on it by himself (under my supervision, of course). I only wish that I had found this sooner. I feel like it is a must have for any little one soon to be getting teeth.

amazon logo Super cute, but not for babies WITH teeth.
I would recommend trying a different product instead. My 9-month-old daughter has 7 teeth and is a strong biter/chewer. We both thought this banana was the cutest toothbrush ever. We "brushed" with it for 2 days and I let her play with and chew it for a bit after each brush, supervised. On day 3 I washed the toothbrush and noticed that about 5 of the rubber bristles were partially or fully chewed off and missing. Sure enough, the bristles have since turned up in her diaper. Althought I considered sending the item back for refund, we will keep it for teeth brushing only. She is no longer allowed to use it as a teether, even with me watching since I didn't notice the bristles breaking off before. Please beware of this before deciding to purchase...I would not have bought it had I known.

amazon logo Baby loves chewing on it!
Got this for my then 7 month old daughter and she loved it! She loves chewing on every part of her banana brush. I make a game out of brushing her teeth (no toothpaste, yet) with it and it makes her laugh every time. She is almost 9 months old now and still loves it.

The only bad thing about this product is that due to the material that it is made of, it attracts dust, dirt, and hair like you wouldn't believe. You think your floor is clean, but the banana hits the floor and you have to rinse it off before giving it back to baby.

Despite that, I still love it. And with the little handles, you can attach a paci clip to it so it won't hit the floor when out and about!

amazon logo my daugther loves this teether
My friend bought me the banana brush teether at a trade show and my daughter loves it. It's very easy for her to hold and she likes the way the brush feels on her gums. It's great for me because my daugther does not like to sit in her stroller, but so long as she has her banana teether, she's fine! I'm very glad my friend found this great product. I just bought three for my other friends who have babies.

amazon logo Best teether purchase so far.
Like any toy, you need to monitor your child while he's using this, they can gag themselves with it. My 5 month old loves this. Love meaning he's really into it for about 5-10 minutes which is about 3-8 minutes longer than any of his other teethers. Like any toy, he gets frustrated with it after it fails to produce any milk =)
